The following references may be useful when improving this article in the future:
The section "Bridget has been the subject of discussion about her gender identity before the release of Guilty Gear Strive [...] When Bridget was first revealed, Game Watch and other sources identified Bridget as female, though the character identified as male at the time." can be easily misread, as the paragraph opens discussing Guilty Gear -Strive- and then subtlely refers to 'When Bridget was first revealed" in reference to X2. It's easy to misread as still referring to Strive. It might be better as "When Bridget was first revealed for Guilty Gear X2",since it has to be clear that the two games refer to Bridget's gender very differently on account of the story.
Another minor issue is "some fans online were disappointed, having expected a "new cute, playable girl".", where is this quote coming from? It seems it'd work just fine without the quotation marks. Tarquinous (talk) 15:21, 7 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The quote comes from this article that is cited with the number reference a sentence or two after the quote. I don't think it's an issue. Though I agree that the above sentences could have some added clarity. Whalord (talk) 06:00, 15 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
